Henry Butch Ferguson, DMD

Martinez, Georgia, United States

Dr. Ferguson received a DMD degree in 1980 from The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh PA. He entered into active duty service with the United States Army Dental Corps in 1980. In 1991, Dr. Ferguson completed residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, GA.

After retirement from the Army in 2004, Dr. Ferguson received full time faculty appointments with the Augusta University Medical Center Department of Surgery and the Dental College of Georgia - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In January 2023, after 19 years of service and as the senior faculty member, he retired from the DCG to pursue other personal academic and clinical interests. Dr. Ferguson is a Diplomate of the ABOMS and the National Dental Board of Anesthesia.
