It takes a team to deliver successful health outcomes and positive experiences for patients. In this workshop, Dr. John C. Minichetti shares knowledge he has gained as the director of the Englewood Dental Implant Learning Center, director of the Englewood Hospital general practice residency, and teacher to thousands of dental students over a cumulative 50+ years. By the end of this workshop, the entire team will understand sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and how to make a positive impression on patients, execute medical consultations, financial agreements, and communicate with the dental laboratory. A hands-on experience will reinforce setup of an armamentarium for various surgical procedures, aseptic protocol and implant motor systems.

Learning Objectives:

  • Realize the staff’s role in pre-operative management for implant surgery
  • Develop the knowledge and understanding of the staff’s role during bone grafting and implant surgical procedures
  • Recognize the importance of the staff’s role in post-operative follow-up management
