A graduate of two faculties at the University of Alberta (U of A) - Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FoMD) for the dental hygiene program and the School of Business for Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) - Ms. Bapoo-Mohamed is a past part-time associate clinical professor in the dental hygiene department. With over two decades of experience as a dental coach and a clinician working with a wide variety of local, national, and international audiences, Karima is highly motivated to empower dental practices and teams to create clinical and operational efficiencies with a patient-centered care model while managing change processes and transformation. Her visionary and strategic planning abilities are exemplified by her start-up project, introducing brand-new dental hygiene careers in Southeast Asia, for which she is the founding director. Maintaining an active RDH status, Karima's volunteer ethic is manifest with multiple years of active contribution to the AAID as a board member on education committee.
