Patients are never happy to learn that they have a problem with an implant! This course will examine the etiologies and pathophysiologies of "ailing" implants. Informed consent is critical when dealing with realistic expectations for both the patient and practitioner.

Learn to recognize different implant problems and their etiology
Explore different treatment modalities, including the use of lasers
Understand the importance for communication of realistic goals in implant rescue
