This didactic course will present an overview on the uses of Photobiomodulation for hygienists and dental assistants. There will be a explanation of how Photobiomodulation works and a "cookbook" for treatment will be discussed. This includes treating aphthous ulcers, nerve regeneration, root sensitivity, TMD issues, use to aid in healing after surgical procedures, scaling, and root planning.
